Mike Tyson Goes Into Marijuana Business
Mike Tyson was fined $200,000 in 2000 after testing positive for marijuana but he is now back to make a fortune from the same substance.
Tyson, whose career has traversed from being a world heavyweight champion to actor to pop culture icon, is set to add another title: Marijuana kingpin.
According to The Blast, Tyson and his partners have a 40-acre plot of land which they plan to turn into an oasis in the desert.
Robert Hickman, one of Tyson’s partners, claims the ‘undeveloped land is primed to be cultivated.’
It is said that half of the land will be used to grow marijuana, while the other half will be dedicated to a hydro-feed plant and supply store, an extraction facility among other plans.
Recreational marijuana was legalized in California on Monday and the City is expecting a big boom in cannabis production and development which Tyson and his partners are already setting the pace.
