UCL: Batshuayi's Late Goal Gives Chelsea Away Victory
Chelsea Football Club on Wednesday stunned Atletico Madrid in a 2-1 defeat at home in a Champions League tie.
A late goal by substitute Michy Batshuayi earned the English side the victory.
The home team opened scoring at the 4th minute when Antoine Griezmann converted a spot-kick after David Luiz committed a foul in the box.
Luiz got a yellow card for that.
In the second half, Chelsea came back with renewed zeal and Alvaro Morata added a goal to his impressive start, scoring at the 60th minute.
Batshuayi's goal at the 90th minute ensured the visitors got all 3 points in the game.
The result left Chelsea with 6 points in Group C, trailed by Roma which also defeated Qarabag 2-1 in Azerbaijan.
Atletico is in third place with 1 point while Qarabag has no point.
Chelsea had in earlier game defeated Qarabag at home 6-0, while Atletico drew 0-0 with Roma in Italy.
