It was another Lionel Messi show on Sunday night as the Argentine scored two goals in the Clasico clash against Real Madrid in which Barcelona won 2-3 away from home.

The two goals scored by Messi at the Estadio Bernabeu; including the dramatic injury-time winner has taken his goals tally in the colours of Barcelona to 500.

Madrid squandered the lead they had through Casemerio just before the half-hour mark as Messi put Barcelona back on level terms barely four minutes after.

With Sergio Ramos sent off, Real found themselves on the back foot when Ivan Rakitic put Barcelona in front in the 73rd minute.

But James Rodriguez provided some late drama scoring the equalizer for Los Blancos in the 86th minute.

And when all thought the final Clasico of the season will end in a stalemate, Messi had other ideas as he popped up with late wonder goal.

With the outcome of Sunday’s five-goal thriller, Barca move level on points with their rivals, who have a game in hand.

However, the win is relevant because of Barca's now-superior head-to-head record.
