Move over Banky W and Adesua Etomi, there's a new hot couple in town and they're royalty to boot!

Earlier in the day, news broke of the engagement between American actress, Meghan Markle and British royal, Prince Harry.

The duo had been dating since last year, having been introduced by a mutual friend in July 2016.

Now the couple are set to tie the knot sometime around the second quarter of 2018 and expectedly, the world can't stop talking about them.

Meghan is best known for her role as Rachel Zane from 'Suits', but asides her on-screen character, not much is known about the private actress...till now.

With her engagement to one of the world's most eligible bachelors, Meghan has gone from relatively known to royal family famous.

So who exactly is Meghan and what about her could have caught the attention of the elusive Prince Harry?

Here are 6 interesting things to know about the future princess.

3. She attended an all-girls Catholic boarding school in Hollywood

Meghan attended Immaculate Heart High School, and then went on to attend the prestigious Northwestern University, earning a degree in Theatre and International Studies.

4. Meghan has been married before...and is older than Prince Harry

Meghan was in a 9-year relationship with American producer/actor, Trevor Engelson. The pair met in 2004 and married in 2011. They however divorced in 2013, citing irreconcilable differences.

Meanwhile, at 36, Meghan is 3 years older than Prince Harry who turned 33 in September.

But Prince Harry won't be the first royal to be with an older woman. His father, Prince Charles' wife Camilla is a year older than her husband and brother, Prince William is 6 months younger than his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge.
