Professor Bimpe Aboyade is the chairman of the Development Policy Centre (DPC) with its base in Ibadan, Oyo state.

They recently celebrated their 25th Founder’s Day in memory of the Founder, Professor Ojetunji Aboyade at the DPC building in Ibadan.

It was an opportunity for her to restate their purpose, so they gave the 2018 anniversary the theme ‘Achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal on Health’.

Nigeria needs to pay more attention to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Goal Number 3, which is to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.

Achieving this is not a task just for government but one all citizens should take seriously, hence the DPC event.

Mrs Aboyade noted that since 2017, the center has been devoting its efforts to sensitizing governments, institutions and fellow Nigerians about their roles.

With this, she concluded that DPC would get closer to its plan to help grow Nigeria’s economy.

The DPC is a policy research and analysis center, and also an autonomous and Non-Profit Organisation founded in 1993 by late Professor Ojetunji Aboyade.
