While the movie Avengers: Infinity War has a lot of depressing moments for Marvel fans, there is still hope that the Marvel universe always has something exciting to offer.

A new stand alone comic book series about Black Panther's little sister Shuri (played by Letitia Wright in the Black Panther movies) is on the way, and Nigeria’s own Nnedi Okorafor will be the writer for this one.

The brand-new series will be available in October 2018 and will focus on Shuri's journey in the face of a tragic event: Black Panther is lost in a mission in space, and she gets pulled away from her high tech lab to rule Wakanda.

This compelling battle within the self of duty over passion, will come to life in the new series with the award-winning Nigerian-American writer providing the conversations for the characters.
