English Premier League club, Manchester United are set to extend manager Jose Mourinho’s contract by five years.

The Red Devils are believed to be ready to reward Mourinho with an improved deal following his impressive start to the season.

According to The Sun, a new five-year contract, worth £65million, is being readied by the club, with the 54-year-old also ready to sign.

Mourinho joined United in 2016 on a three-year deal that runs till 2019.

Ahead of the trip to Anfield on Saturday, Manchester United occupy the 2nd spot of the EPL table, though on same point (19) with leaders Manchester City after seven matches.

The Portuguese has not lost a game in the current campaign, with six wins and a draw to his kitty.
