Musa Ahmed was arrested on February 28, 2019 by men of Igbeti Area Command led by ASP Tajudeen Toye on stop-and-search.

He was traveling in Mitsubishi Lancer commuter vesicle with registration number XS 814 BDJ.

When the vehicle was searched, a human skull was found in a bag which belonged to Musa Ahmed from Ilesha Kwara traveling to Ogbomosho, Oyo State.

He was paraded alongside 17 other suspects for various offences ranging from armed robbery, burglary, impersonation, stealing to unlawful possession of firearms.

Speaking with journalists at the Command's headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan, the suspect who claimed to be a farmer and herdsman said he was arrested at Igbeti

"I am a farmer and I was travelling from Ilorin to Ogbomosho and our vehicle was stopped by the policemen, my bag was searched and nothing was found, a man whom we were travelling in the same car ran away when the police wanted to search his belongings and the human skull was found in a bag which does not belong to me," he said.

However, the Oyo state Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu insisted that the 30-year-old man is a prime suspect.
