Oshodi stood still on Sunday as a leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya popularly called MC Oluom led the campaign train of candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 general elections.

Sunday’s event was the second rally to be organized by Oluomo for the APC since he returned from US after he was stabbed at the party's governorship campiagn flag-off rally.

Oluomo, who his admirers now called ‘Okuti’( Never die) had on Thursday organized a similar rally to drum support for the APC candidates.

During Sunday's rally, MC Oluomo vowed to work for the end of PDP in Oshodi and Lagos State at large.

In a carnival-like manner, MC and his supporters made up of youths and women snaked through major streets in Oshodi singing and waving  brooms.

During the rally, Oluomo distributed APC branded fabrics, T- shirts and liquid soap to residents who had trooped out to catch a glimpse of him since his return from the US medical trip.

The rally was attended by leaders of the party in the area and some Yoruba Nollywood actors.

The rally was also attended by the party's candidates for the House of Reps and State House of Assembly for Oshodi Constituency 1, Dawood Bashir and Akeem Sokunle.
