Romelu Lukaku is off the mark as far as scoring goals for Manchester United is concerned.

The Belgian striker netted his first goal for Manchester United in their 2-1 victory over Real Salt Lake in Utah.

Luis Silva had given the MLS side a surprise lead, but goals from Henrik Mkhitaryan and Lukaku ensured that United registered their second win on American soil in the space of three days.

However, in a heated second half which saw Juan Mata pick up a knock, Antonio Valencia received a straight red card for a foul on Sebastian Saucedo.

Meanwhile, former Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Stephen was in action for Salt Lake City in their preseason match against Manchester United

Stephen, who represented Spain at U19, U20 and U21 levels, before switching allegiance to Nigeria, played for his MLS team for 30 minutes and the whole eleven were substituted with the score at 1-1.
