Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has joined the sports management company founded by pop star Jay Z, Roc Nation Sports.

Lukaku becomes the second professional footballer to join the company after Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.

Roc Nation Sports also represent several top US sports stars across baseball, basketball and American football.

The company made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday.

“The #RocNationSports family just got bigger. Welcome @RomeluLukaku9!”

Lukaku came from the bench to score Manchester United’s second goal in a 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Wednesday night, posing a hand symbol synonymous with Jay Z during his celebration.

It was Lukaku's 16th league goal of the season and his seventh Premier League goal in six meetings with the Cherries.

The Belgian will be hoping to help United beat Tottenham in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final clash.
