Mainz 05 defender Leon Balogun has officially pulled out of the friendly games the Super Eagles are set to play in France.

The Nigeria international suffered a knock in the last game of the season and his Bundesliga side have now said he has to be excused from the Corsica and Togo games.

Nigeria will take on the Corsica Senior Team at the Stade Francois Coty in Ajaccio starting from 8pm on Friday, May 26, and then travel to Paris for the game against the Hawks of Togo.

The match against the Hawks has been scheduled for the Stade Municipal de Saint Leu La Foret, Paris on Thursday, June 01, 2017 starting from 7.30pm

It remains to be seen if Balogun will be fit to stage a return for the South Africa AFCON qualifiers next month in Uyo
