Leicester City are said to be considering a move for third Nigerian player to join the Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa at King Power stadium.

The reigning English Premier League Champions according to multiple reports are keeping an eye on Nigerian international winger, Oghenekaro Etebo.

The 21-year-old, who plays for Feirense, mid-table in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, has been attracting interest from around Europe since his 4-goal haul in Nigeria's 5-4 win over Japan at the Olympics in August.

Since he made his debut with the Eagles, Etebo has been tracked throughout the season by City and Turkish giants Fenerbahce, according to Portuguese paper A Bola.

In his 6 caps for the Nigeria senior team, he has one goal, scored on his debut against Egypt, and one assist, setting up John Obi Mikel in the Super Eagles' 3-1 World Cup qualifying win over Algeria in November.

Etebo has been included in the Nigeria squad to face Senegal and Burkina Faso in friendlies later this month.

The matches, on March 23 and 27, will be played at Barnet's The Hive Stadium and it will be another chance for Etebo to prove his mettle to those interested in signing him.
