#LagosLGElection: Heavy Rain Disrupts Polls Across Councils, LCDAs
It was as if the heavens had other plans contrary to the ones made by the Lagos state government as regard the local council polls.
Accreditation and registration of voters that was supposed to start by 8am at various polling units across the state could not begin because of the downpour.
The early morning rain prevented officials of Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) from setting up their booths at some polling units.
As at 8am, none of the polling booths in Akowonjo, Shasha was opened for the day's exercise.
Eligible voters and party members were seen waiting for the directives from the LASIEC.
In Lekki, Victoria Island and its environs, it was practically raining cats and dogs.
We will bring you updates of activities at different polling units across the state.
