"How can we quickly allow about a million or two million people sign on to the health insurance policy?

"We will activate access to facilities that are state-run and privately-run. We've got over 300 primary health institutions.

"We need to equip and put the right personnel in those places... Let us increase the budget allocation given to the health sector and enjoy real partnership with private hospital and ensure that access is enjoyed by all our citizens."

That's according to the All Progressives Congress' governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He was one of 4 candidates that participated in Sunday's Lagos Debate organized by The Platform.

The candidates include: Bababatunde Badamosi (Action Democratic Party), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (All Progressives Congress), Jimi Agbaje (Peoples Democratic Party) and Owolabi Salis (Alliance for Democracy).

The participants answered questions that ranged from the economy to health and education.

The debate has come and gone but Nigerians on social media are still sharing their opinions and making comments.

From Twitter to Facebook engagements, the reactions have been pouring in.

However, many people have argued that Sanwo-Olu of APC stood out (head-above-shoulders) compared to other candidates.
