It's D-DAY and card carrying members of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos are ready.

But it appears there are already early traces of violence within the metropolis.

Bounce News correspondent, Lekan Oladehinde reports that an Ambode supporter has been injured while he tried to enter the polling unit in Ward G Alimosho local council area.

The injured man who refused to reveal his identity says he is a registered member of the APC and a supporter of Governor Akinwumi Ambode.

Members of the APC in Lagos are heading to the polls to choose between incumbent governor, Akinwumi Ambode and the new god son, Jide Sanwo-Olu.

The nature of the polls, which have been shifted twice, will be a first of its kind in the Centre of Excellence.

It has been tagged Open Direct Primary. It involves physical counting of members on queue behind the posters of their chosen aspirants.
