Is this part of the Mega City project?

It is expected that from Thursday bus conductors in Lagos will start wearing uniforms.

The Lagos state government is not joking with its Smart City Initiatives (SCI) and this is believed to be a major way to give the city a new befitting look.

The National President of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN, Israel Adeshola, confirmed the commencement.

The best part of this is that the new initiative means conductors can now be tracked.

The Lagos government has approved the association’s uniforms and badges with name tags and identification numbers for easy identification.

The President of the conductors said the use of badges on uniforms is to address criminal tendencies by impostors.

Cases of 'one chance' should reduce when we refuse to enter buses without identifiable conductors.

We are on the lookout too…waiting to see how well the habitually half-naked ones adjust into being clothed, always.
