The Gunners are pleased with their new record signing but is it too early to shout HURRAY?!!!

New summer signing, Alexandre Lacazette has expressed his gratitude to Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi for providing what he described a 'great assist' which helped him to a debut goal in Arsenal colours on Thursday.

Lacazette scored his first goal just 15 minutes into his Arsenal career after club captain Per Mertesacker had opened scoring in the first half with an acrobatic strike.

Arsene Wenger's men beat Sydney FC 2-0 in front of a sell-out crowd at ANZ Stadium.

Having struck the right rhythm in his first game, the French man will be hoping for more service from Iwobi going forward.
