Super Eagles star, Moses Simon was missing in action as football in the La Liga got into full swing on Friday night after months of hibernation.

Moses, a new signing for Levante was not listed for the season opener away to Real Betis but that nonetheless, Levante got the job done; recording a handsome 0-3 victory.

It was gathered that the Nigerian star picked up a muscular injury in Levante’s pre-season friendly clash against Real Zaragoza last weekend and has not been able to take part in full training this week.

Moses recently linked up with Levante from Belgian club, KAA Gent and played in two pre-season games for the club.

He will hope to regain full fitness before Levante’s next league game against Deportivo Alaves next week Saturday.

The former AS Trencin of Slovakia star missed out on a place in Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia due to injury.
