On a weekend that big guns like Barcelona and Real Madrid could not win in the La Liga, Super Eagles star, Moses Simon is happy to have helped his club Levante to a 2-1 victory over Deportivo Alaves.

Though Sunday's outing was the third time Moses will be playing for Levante in the La Liga this season, it was only the first time he will be ending up on the winning side as previous appearances against Real Valladolid and Sevilla all ended in defeats.

Moses was subbed on in the 60th minute for Spanish forward, Jason who actually scored one of the goals for Levante in the feisty encounter against Deportivo Alaves.

The game produced seven yellow cards.

With the win recorded by Moses and his Levante teammates on Sunday, they have moved out of the relegation zone with seven points from as many games.
