Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has vowed to continue his attacking principles when the club takes on Leicester City in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Liverpool has struggled in recent matches, with the latest being a 2-0 loss to Leicester City midweek in the League Cup.

There are criticisms Klopp is too concerned about attacking and consequently losing focus in the defense and allowing opponents to easily score.

But the manager said he has no plan of changing his strategies.

"In the beginning it was so nice, how fluent we are, how creative we are. We are still fluent and still creative but we don't score, so it's a big problem," Klopp said.

"If you would ask me what would you prefer: 'Do you want your team perfect in defending set-pieces but don't know how to play football or would you prefer the other way round?' - I still would take this second one."

Liverpool will return to the King Power stadium to face Leicester City in the EPL on Saturday. Anything short of victory will put Klopp under intense pressure.
