Tunmi Lawrence says he was not sacked by Kizz Daniel. He claims he walked away.

The former manager, who got replaced by the UK-based Rebecca Junaid, says he was not sacked even after Kizz Daniel’s record label announced firing the singer’s management and PR team.

He declared on Instagram when asked by a follower why Kizz Daniel sacked him.

Tunmi simply replied, 'bosses don't get sacked, they walk away'.

In a statement released via Fly Boy Inc on social media, Kizz Daniel announced he has a new management team.

The sack of Tunmi might not be unconnected to the altercation he had with members of Davido’s DMW crew during Davido’s Christmas concert.

Even though Tunmi claims he was slapped by either Davido or a member of his crew, Davido has denied it.

Artiste manager and concert organizer Kaycee Oguejiofor believes that Tunmi lost his job because Kizz Daniel will prefer to save his relationship with Davido.

“Kizz Daniel will want to save his relationship with Davido. Remember that before they sang ‘One Ticket’ Davido was the one person who believed in him and featured in the remix of his first hit song ‘Woju’. He also has a concert in April and would want Davido to perform. He simply picked his relationship with Davido over Kizz Daniel” Kaycee explained.
