The Permanent Secretary in the Bureau of General Services in the Office of the Governor of Osun State, Olufunke Kolawole has been killed by suspected kidnappers

Kolawole and another person were in her official car when the kidnappers attacked them on the highway and kidnapped her.

She was travelling along Okene-Abuja highway for an official assignment in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. She was to attend the inauguration of the the PS, Ministry of Justice, Abiola Adewemimo as one of the judges of the Industrial Court.

The kidnappers took her away and her corpse was eventually found on the road.

She was matcheted severely and left to die on the spot.

The Director of the Bureau of Communication and Strategy in the Office of the Governor, Semiu Okanlawon confirmed the death of the PS, saying that it came as a shock.

Police officials have commenced investigation o unravel the killers and their motive.
