The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of Five Million Naira from his mother.

Sources close to his family say his mum is sad and confused but the Police is now involved in the matter.

His close friend Raphael Koko said that he was kidnapped in Port Harcourt over the weekend.

"He was in Lagos for an event last week and now I’m getting calls from mutual friends that he was kidnapped in Port Harcourt over the weekend.

"We still don’t have all the details yet. It’s just very surprising and shocking", Raphael said.

The 25 year old once described himself as "an Optimistic Visionary … who has learned never to misuse or devalue what I have".

He attended Oliver Height Primary School and Diocesan Educational Centre Nursery and Primary School; and the Bishop Crowther Memorial Secondary School.

He also had a stint at the Niger-Delta Science School before he got admitted to the University of Port Harcourt where he studied Mechanical Engineering. 

Kidnapping has become a national security problem with cases recorded across the country in Lagos, Borno and Rivers state.

On Friday, the police announced the release of #Epe 6 after spending over 60 days in captivity. 

Over the weekend, the military said efforts are being intensified to find and release some lecturers from the University of Maiduguri who were abducted by suspected members of Boko Haram.
