Unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted two people in Rivers State.

The two were abducted in different locations in the state on Tuesday. The victims, who are in their mid-thirties, have been identified as Ikpendu Nyenke and Henry King-Chukwu.

Bounce News gathered that Nyenke was kidnapped at gunpoint at Obelle community in Emohua Local Government Area on his way to his village in Ibaa community.

Meanwhile, King-Chuku was abducted around location junction, Mgbuoba axis, Port Harcourt, on his way to work and since then has not returned home.

A family member of Nyenke, who confirmed the incident to our reporter, said he fears greatly that his brother may have been killed following a call from the kidnappers.

It was gathered that the kidnappers have also contacted the family of King-Chukwu. They are demanding for a ransom of 3 million naira.

However, as at the time of filing this report, the Rivers state police command is yet to confirm the incidents as the command spokesman said he was yet to be briefed.
