A woman’s attempt to kidnap some school children in Lagos on Monday morning was not successful.

She met her waterloo after she was caught in the act, apprehended and handed to the police.

When Bounce News visited the scene, an eye witness narrated how it happened.

“She bought many sweets and biscuits and gave them to four children of Anglican primary school here in Owode-Ajegunle. She has succeeded in luring the kids but was stopped when she was trying to make a final escape.” The anonymous eye witness said.

The kidnapper, in her middle-age, was being lynched by residents, but was rescued by police at the Owode-Onirin police station.

She was detained at the police station and she is expected to be transferred.

When Bounce News contacted the Lagos state police PRO, Chike Uti, he pleaded for time to confirm the incident.
