Kemi Olunloyo has been released from prison.

The blogger, who made a reputation for steering controversy, went to jail following a lawsuit, after she made defamatory comments directed at Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the General Overseer of the Salvation Ministries.

She was arrested on March 5, 2017, in Ibadan where she is resides.

Olunloyo was granted bail by Chief Magistrate, Alatuwo Elkanah Fubara, but was later sent back to prison after not being able to meet her bail conditions.

Most notable on the list of the people she criticizes is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye whom she accused of being a murderer, alleging that the latter killed a policeman in 1971.

She said that the clergy man mistook the deceased for an armed robber.
