The voting process at the Nigeria Football Federation Elective Congress has commenced according to the updates from Katsina.

Before voting got underway, the host governor, Rt. Hon Aminu Masari of Katsina State had delivered his speech which was largely a goodwill message to the delegates, urging them to play fairly.

The General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, who is the presiding officer thereafter announced the order of the election after the erstwhile board led by Amaju Pinnick was officially dissolved.

FIFA Observers, Luca Piazza and Solomon Mudege and also the CAF Observer, Sita Sangare, an Army Colonel who is also President of the Burkina Faso Football Federation are all in Katsina to ensure that a credible process is adhered to.

Four persons are vying for the NFF Presidency while many other are seeking seats in the body’s Executive board.
