If what the media team of former President Olusegun Obasanjo is to be true, then it seems Baba Iyabo is throwing his weight behind the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

Obasanjo was said to have described Atiku as "President-to-be" following a meeting between the two men in Abeokuta, capital of Ogun State, on Thursday.

Joining Atiku at the meeting were his righthand man and former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, and Uche Secondus, the National Chairman of the party; and, more notably, Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah; Islamic preacher, Dr. Ahmad Abubkaar Gumi; and Founder of Winners' Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo.

Obasanjo is set to address the media at the end of the meeting, with his media team already confirming to Saharareporters that he already had "congratulated President-To-Be Atiku Abubakar".
