The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has witnessed all sorts barely seven days after resumption.

From the beating up of match officials to players scoring own goals and also teams recording away wins in quick successions, the NPFL has been a whole package; albeit not so pleasant. 

However in the midst of all this, one treasured incident has eventually reared up.

The latest is that first ever woman has just been appointed as the President of a club plying their trade in the current NPFL season.

She is Charity Obuah who was named the President of Go-RoundFC Omoku.

Go-Round FC

Go Round football club, one of the very few privately runned team with their base in River state, on Wednesday meted recorded a 2-1 away win over Abia Warriors in Umuahia.

Go Round two years ago, took the bull by the horn and gained entrance into the country’s top flight level.

Since then, they have remained a force to be reckoned with the owner, Felix Obuah who doubles as the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) using the club to set the pace in football administration.
