Shedrack Aliyu of Bagunji village in Shongom local government area of the state, has been arrested in connection with the death of Saleh Galadima Wange, the ward head of Galdimaro, Bagunji District.

The suspect was said to have conspired and fled with his accomplice after killing their victim on 17th July, 2017.

He was trailed and arrested at Kurmi local government Taraba state, according to Gombe State Commissioner of Police Shina Olukolu . 

The police boss revealed that the suspects were contracted by one Anthony Makeri of the same address.

He said Anthony gave them arms and ammunition to kill the victim promising to pay the sum of 150,000 Naira which he never fulfilled.

“Anthony was also arrested on 7th August, 2018. The suspects are being charged to court to face the wrath of the law,"he added.

CP Olukolu said another suspect has been arrested and being charged with culpable homicide.

“Abubakar Ayuba of Gangare Quarters Awak, Kaltungo local government, 39 was arrested for culpable homicide”.

“The suspects killed one Yabinu Ibrahim of same, 60, his sister and daughter, 25.

The Police Commissioner said the command also arrested Muktar Usman of Layin Gombawa Quarters Old GRA Gombe.

He was arrested for burgling the house of one Ibrahim Haruna of Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe, and made away with six smart phones, one personal computer, a power bank and two phone chargers.
