President Muhammadu Buhari and his Ivorian counterpart, Alassane Quattara have met behind closed doors inside the Aso Rock Villa.

Before the commencement of their meeting, Buhari introduced some of his ministers and aids while other domestic affairs were suspended.

The two presidents are meeting officially for the first time in Nigeria since the inauguration of President Buhari’s administration on May 29, 2015.

Quattara, had on April 20, 2015, met with Buhari, then, as President-Elect, shortly after a meeting with former President, Goodluck Jonathan.

The outcome of the meeting is expected to be communicated to the public.
