Suicide bombers unleashed terror on Mubi community, causing scare and panic in the commercial hub of the northeast Adamawa State on Tuesday Afternoon.

At least 27 persons were killed while 56 others were injured. 

The attack has been confirmed by the police in Adamawa State.

According to the police, the blast took place in a market full of traders transacting their business. 

The anti-bomb squad has been dispatched to cordon the area. 

The spokesman for the Governor, Mohammed Jibrilla, said he had already ordered the medical team to take care of the wounded.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but Boko Haram terrorists have carried out similar attacks in the past.
