Hapoel Be'er Sheva midfielder, John Ogu has taken off from Israel on Monday morning, heading for London ahead of Nigeria’s two international friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso.

Ogu and his club Hapoel Be'er Sheva defeated Maccabi Haifa 4-0 in the Ligat HaAl championship on Saturday.

The player announced on Monday morning that he is off to international duties in London, with a picture of himself aboard a plane.

Named among the 25 players for the friendlies by coach Gernot Rohr, Ogu is expected to play the attacking midfield role.

Nigeria will play Senegal on Thursday before facing Burkina Faso on Monday at The Hive in London.
