Former Manchester City player, Chidiebere Nwakali says he is happy to have completed a move to Swedish top-flight Kalmar FF.

The Nigerian, who joined City three years ago and spent time away on-loan with five different clubs, left the English side permanently at the end of last season, signing for Poland's Raków Czestochowa.

The midfielder feels Kalmar is a good club where he can develop as a player.

"It is most important for me to come to a club where I can grow and develop as a football player. I have been loaned on several occasions in recent years and there was no alternative for me once again.

"Kalmar feels like a very good choice for me and I feel that they will be able to develop myself into a better football player."
