Janet Jackson Gets Nigerian Dancers For New Video?
After doing the Akwaaba dance, made popular by Guiltybeatz, Mr Eazi and Pappy Kojo during an iconic Billboard Music Awards performance, superstar, Janet Jackson has taken her love for African dance a step further.
Three years after her acclaimed eleventh studio album, ''Unbreakable'', she drops a new song titled ‘Made For This’
The Harmony Samuels produced anthem talks about living in the moment.
On the song, which clearly borrows sound elements from Afrobeat and Dancehall, the American music star demands that we all enjoy the present, and not worry about tomorrow.
"We're made for now/Not tomorrow", she opines on the chorus.
For the music video, Janet Jackosn, Daddy Yankee and her host of dancers-mostly clad in Ankara- break into various Nigerian and Ghanaian inspired steps, like Akwaaba dance and Azonto.
