Is Chelsea New Manager Planning To Offload Victor Moses?
Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses, who was highly favoured under immediate past manager, Antonio Conte may be on his way out of the Bridge.
Maurizio Sarri took over from Conte as manager of Chelsea in July, and is assembling his squad ahead of the new season.
Bounce News findings reveal that though Moses is still part of Chelsea’s first team, Sarri is looking at luring 24-year-old Elseid Hysaj from Napoli, who plays same position as the AFCON 2013 winner.
The Albanian is believed to have a great engine, impressive technical quality, attacking intent and is also solid at the back, which caught the attention of Sarri, and could be preferred ahead of the Nigerian.
Hysaj’s current market value is placed at £22.50m, and his contract with Napoli runs till June 30, 2021.
Moses has a contract at Chelsea till 2021. He has made 218 EPL appearances, scoring 20 goals.
At the weekend, Moses rejoined Chelsea for pre-season ahead of the forthcoming 2018/19 English Premier League season after featuring for Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The 27-year-old played Super Eagles’ all three matches before crashing out in the group stage.
