Nigeria international Victor Moses will be missing in action as Chelsea resume their campaign in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night against Roma.

Billed to miss a couple of other games, Moses has made a promise that he would be working hard enough to hasten his return to full fitness and action in the shortest possible time.

“Gutted to pick up an injury. Working hard to get fit & back on the pitch as soon as I can!” Moses wrote on his Twitter handle @VictorMoses on Wednesday.

Moses joined the growing injury list at Chelsea during the Premier League game against Crystal Palace last weekend.

He could only play for 36 minutes before he was hauled off.

It is in this light that the fleet-footed forward will be excused from the Super Eagles dead-rubber World Cup qualifying game against Algeria next month.

It is understood that the Super Eagles Technical adviser is considering Henry Onyekuru to fill up the vacuum for the Chelsea ace.
