In Ibadan, Family Agonises Over Missing 75-Year-Old Mother
Aishat Abdullahi left home for her shop at Onireke area on Wednesday, August 1 at around 7:40am.
The 75-year-old woman later left the shop around 8:10am to buy fruits and other things at Oritamerin Market but since then, she has not returned home.
Her son Matthew Yussuf said: "We met the banana seller who confirmed that she sold some bananas to her, also the garri seller confirmed that she sold garri to her.
"Usually when she is done buying all things in the market, she goes to the gari seller to buy gari and put all her things together and cross to the other side of the road to board a taxi or marwa to Mokola then, another cab to her shop.
"But after she left the gari seller's place, her whereabout is yet unknown.
“We reported to the police on the same day, we got police report and made announcement on some radio and TV stations."
All efforts have yielded no result and the family is worried. They need help from all citizens to help them find their mother.
