Leicester captain Wes Morgan is very happy to have Kelechi Iheanacho as a teammate and he has described the Nigerian as a very talented footballer.

Iheanacho joined the Foxes in a £25m move from Manchester City this summer and reports suggest he has been very impressive in pre-season training with the Foxes.

The 20-year-old striker made an impressive debut for the club in a pre-season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, although he was forced from the field with an injury late in the game.

Iheanacho has returned to training and Morgan is looking forward to playing alongside the Nigeria international when Leicester take on Arsenal in the opening game of the new Premier League season on Friday at the Emirates.

"He's a very, very good player. He's sharp and quick and he's definitely got an eye for goal," Morgan said.

"We did a round-robin tournament today and he was on my team. He popped up with some great goals from impossible positions, which is refreshing.

"It's good to see someone with that knowhow, someone with a different acuteness that adds something to the team.

"I think he'll come and do a great job for us."
