Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho is facing a late fitness test ahead of Leicester City’s English Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.

Iheanacho is suffering a toe injury which kept him out of training on Thursday.

Manager Craig Shakespeare revealed that the 20-year-old went to see a specialist as he sought to find a final solution to the problem.

“We’re trying to give him enough time to recover – he’s been having some discomfort with it.

“He can run, but not at full pelt and sometimes when he kicks the ball he feels it. We’re trying to manage it.

“Going to see the specialist was more a case of trying to get a second opinion on it.”

For the game against Brighton, Leicester City will be without Danny Drinkwater, who has been ruled out with a thigh injury.
