The UK have been under attack in recent times; the latest being Saturday's attack in London but all that will count for less as Nigerian star, Kelechi Iheanacho seems keen to lay hold on a British Passport.

Iheanacho has been in the news over a possible transfer away from Manchester City and while that remains a huge possibility it has been revealed that the Super Eagles forward will only listen to offers that would see him remain in England for at least 700 days.

Iheanacho has been in the UK for the past three years and will be eligible for a British passport in two years, and he is willing to stay put so as to meet up the eligibility status.

“He has been in England for the last three years and is two years away from getting his UK citizenship,” a source told ESPN.

“There is no point in moving outside England right now."

It is understood that some German clubs as well as French giants, PSG are all interested in snapping up  Iheanacho who has also been linked with West Ham United and a handful of other Premier League teams
