Though he fired blanks in his last assignment with the Super Eagles, Odion Ighalo got back to scoring form over the weekend in the Chinese Super League.

Ighalo scored twice as Changchun Yatai beat Guizhou Hengfeng 3-2 away in the CSL on Saturday.

The goals from the Nigerian striker came in the 50th minute and two minutes into added time during the dramatic league game.

With this latest set of goals, Ighalo has now scored 14 goals making him the highest scoring African in the Chinese top flight, while he is sixth overall on top scorers’ chart.

Changchun Yatai are now 10th on the CSL standings with 35 points from 27 games.
