#SeunKuti

Singer SeunKuti says branding has the same effect as slavery.

He said this while complaining about how his children quickly outgrow the expensive clothes he buys for them.

"I remember this day very vividly. Never buying expensive clothes for my kids. Can’t tell u how much I bought that effing dress she’s wearing.
These brands are sucking the life out of black people!! The attachment to the ‘brand’ and ‘branding’ still has the same effect as slavery trust me. Gucci gang naaaah more like Gucci’s slave.

"Well back to my personal rant. Now I asked @chefyeide for it and she says. Haba she is four now she can’t fit in it anymore, whaaaaaaat really?

"For that price this dress should grow with @adarakuti if that’s not the case GET THE SAX."

#Mayorkun

Mayorkun’s run in 2018 has been great so far.

He dropped a banging single Bobo and won the 2018 ‘Next Rated' award at this year's Headies.

He has been featured on a bunch of solid tracks including DJ Xclusive's "Tear Rubber”.

So, while fans await his debut album, the DMW hit maker has decided to give his fans double musical blessings with: "Posh" and "Fantasy".

Produced by Northboi — who is also responsible for Starboy’s "Soco" — "Posh" is a catchy Afropop tune that has Mayorkun promising to thank God for whatever his newfound fame brings his way.

As for the Kiddominant produced "Fantasy" — the High-life tinged Afropop track finds Mayorkun picking a subject that has won him all the accolades; a beautiful woman he loves.
