The new Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Plateau United have a level of celebrity followership and their title winning feat on Saturday is bringing them to the fore.

One of the 'A' list fans of Plateau United is son of the soil and top Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince Zamani  who has congratulated the Solid Miners for braving all  the odds to win the NPFL 2016/17 League shield.

The 'Oleku' crooner treated his 2.3 million Instagram followers to a picture of himself alongside, Olu Maintain in Jos as they all celebrated with Plateau United over their merited victory.

Ice Prince who was fully branded with the club's kits, wrote 'Super proud of my guys at plateau United on winning the NPFL Cup ????????????.'

Plateau United on Saturday beat Enugu Rangers 2-0 to finish top of the log after 38 grueling matches with 66 points.

The team will now proceed to represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League alongside MFM FC who finished in second place.
