Blessing has arrived in London to put finishing touches to her preparations for the IAAF World Championships.

Seen as one of Nigeria’s best medal prospects, Okagbare is taking no chances as she is already in town ahead of her other compatriots.

She arrived Tuesday to begin her final preparation four days before she takes to the track at the London stadium for the first round.

Okagbare is making her fourth trip to the world championships.

She was a double medalist at the 14th edition of the championships in Moscow, Russia in 2013 and she will hope to replicate that feat in London.

The University of Texas, El Paso graduate is billed to compete in the 100m, Long Jump and 4x100m Women’s Relay in London.

The 2017 IAAF World Championship is billed to take place from Friday, August 4th to 13th.
