IAAF World Championships: More Nigerian Athletes Arrive In London

More Team Nigeria athletes have arrived in London ahead of Friday's kickoff of the 2017 IAAF World Athletics Championship.
The latest set of arrival as confirmed by the Media Officer for the Athletics Federation Of Nigeria, Dare Esan are the United States-based trio of Chukwuebuka Enekwechi (shot putter), Edose Ibadin (800m runner) and Lindsay Lindley (100m hurdles).
Mr. Esan also confirmed that more athletes will jet out of the country later today for London just in time to meet Friday's grand opening.
The trio finally heading to London from Nigeria are Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume and Patience-Okon George who have now received travel visas from the British High Commission after initial delays.
A total number of 18 athletes made up of mostly United States-based individuals have been selected to represent Nigeria at the 2017 IAAF World Athletics Championship which run from August 3-14, 2017.
