A 67-year-old woman, Florence Popoola cannot stop thanking God for her life after surviving the ordeal of being kidnapped for four days.
Mrs Popoola was abducted in Ikere-Ekiti on September 14, 2017 after returning from church.
The kidnappers, who made away with the victim's Nissan Sunny car were able to make the family cough out 1.5 million Naira as ransom.
Recalling her experience, Mrs Florence Popoola who spoke in Yoruba said she was kidnapped from her home and kept in the bush walking from one location to another for four days.
"When my abductors got the payment from my family, they told me it was time for me to go.
"They took me on a bike and we travelled for about one hour. When they dropped me off, they asked me to keep trekking that my children will trace me with the phone they gave me.
“I couldn't operate the phone but saw a hunter who later helped me and some church members whom I believed were on prayer mountain. They later helped me to contact my children."
Luck, however, ran out on the suspected kidnappers who have been nabbed by the police in Ekiti state.
