Ibadan is the place to be this third week of Sepetember for the presidential aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The ancient city welcomed Senator David Mark on Wednesday (September 19) after Senate President Bukola Saraki and former Sokoto Governor, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa had visited on Tuesday.

Unlike the Senate President, Mr Mark did not talk about being a digital president, he said he was in Ibadan, Oyo State to familiarize himself with the people of state

However, he also boasted of his own super powers and made his own promises, and it appears an ordinary man will truly need more than digital powers to achieve them.

Speaking at the party secretariat, he asked the people of Ibadan to give him just 730 days to change the economy if voted in as President.

"I am the bridge between the North and the South, I am the bridge that will move the nation forward. Give me 730 days to change things in the country because I know all the problems of the country.

"The economy will be changed, the issue of insecurity will be solved and I have the power to solve all the issues."

For him, if Nigeria can ensure proper management of its affairs, the country will be great.

He stressed further that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was a better option and if he is not picked among the 13 aspirants he would support whoever is picked and not desert the party.

"There are 13 of us aspiring to be President, if either me or any of my counterparts wins I will support them because it is PDP not because of an individual. Nobody needs to tell anyone that PDP is a better option and if there is a free and fair election, I can beat my chest that PDP will win."

The Oyo PDP chairman, Alhaji Mustapha Kumi said that although Sen. David Mark made his intentions known late, he believes his hardwork would speak for him.

Delegates at the meeting include, Alhaji Mustapha Kumi, Hon. Lanre Oladeji, Hon. Aareola Hakeem, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Sen. Zainab Kure amongst others.
