Fenerbahce forward Victor Moses misses playing for Nigeria’s Super Eagles but does the team miss his contribution?

Time will tell as the team prepares for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The 28-year-old winger shocked many football loving Nigerians in 2018 when he announced his retirement from the Nigerian men’s senior football team.

But according to a report in the Turkish media, the Nigerian has been quoted to have said that he misses Nigerian supporters cheering him on whenever he put on the green and white.

He said, "I feel love here and the fans are really pushing me. Not so different like when I play for Nigeria. I miss playing for Nigeria ‎as making the fans happy is our goal as a team. Same as here with Fenerbahce.”

Moses is on an 18-month loan deal at Fenerbahce from Premier League giants Chelsea. He scored his first goal for Fenerbahce in his second outing.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick recently said that talks were ongoing to facilitate the return of Victor Moses to the Super Eagles.

This is another confirmation that his career is back to life after struggling to displace forwards Eden Hazard, Willain, Pedro and youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi under Maurizio Sarri.
